Official identification required.
Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) issued by an accredited veterinarian 30 days or less prior to entry, with official ID numbers recorded on or attached to the CVI.
Import permit required. Veterinarians can obtain an entry permit by using Oregon Department of Agriculture’s online permit system, or calling 503-986-4680. For veterinarians using an approved eCVI provider an entry permit is not required. Please click here to view a list of approved eCVI providers.
Negative trichomoniasis test within 60 days prior to coming into Oregon.
The CVI must include the following statements:
'The bulls on this CVI have been tested for trichomoniasis and have been confined and have not had sexual contact with females since their last negative test.'
'Trichomoniasis has not been diagnosed in the herd of origin within the past 24 months.'

Oregon has agreements with CA, ID, MT, NV and UT to accept brands. Invidual identification is required, but animals may be shipped on brand assurance. The CVI must state that individual identification is in place.
Brand registry tattoos are allowed when accompanied by breed registry papers and when accepted by both the shipping and receiving states.
